I buy lavender scented sunscreen from alii kula lavender farm in Maui, Hawaii. I order it online. 8 of us put this on for 4th of July and no one got bit. I usually get bit all the time. Have tried off, cutter, skinsosoft, etc, but the lavender lotions & sunscreens work great, & smell nice,too.
I also know a few people who have planted lavender in their yard. It is a natural repellent.
If you do get a bite, slice a cherry tomato and hold on the bite. Stops the itching. This works for heat rash, poison ivy, shingles, you name it.

If you put white vinegar on a mozzie bite it really helps to cure it, I use it frequently and it always works! Just put some vinegar on a tissue or cotton bud and apply it to the bite, try it!
Well I read everything and I tried them all and they didn't work so tried something else. I first put a cream on called Eurax cream for itches and I used snooze cream. I put it on all of my mosquito bite and then I waited for 3 minutes. Then I put some ice on and in 5 minutes hand sanitizer. Then I peeled a banana and used the skin. then I waited for half an hour and I was cured.
Wash the bite with lots of clear, cold water. Peel a banana and use the inside of the peel to rub the affected area. Apply papaw cream and keep your hand in a plastic bag to stop getting dust and things on your mosquito bite, which would make the itch worse.
Rub a little tiger balm over the area bitten as soon after bite as possible, within 10 minutes the itch is GONE. Reapply as necessary.
This is gross but make an X on the bite then take your spit and put it on the bite. They say spit is your natural medy!
I drank some bendadryl pills with water and it was cured in 2 or 3 days I think and then you will still have it but will not ich at all then I think you need to use cream and rub it then it might dissappear.

I don't know if you have Bracken Ferns in the US, but in Australia, when I was a little kid, I'd always manage to get bitten by Bull-ants or Jack Jumpers which are bloody painful and sting like hell. My parents would always use Bracken Ferns to instantly get rid or the pain and itch. Pull out a green Bracken Fern...which grow everywhere like weeds in the Australian bush, snap the root of the fern until the sticky white milky stuff comes out and rub it on the bite. It will stop the sting or itch instantly. This also works on Mozzie bites. No need to carry any potions or lotions with you, its provided free from natures larder.

Cut a piece of fresh garlic rub the cut end on the bite. It will provide almost instant relief from the itch and the swelling will diminish also. People who eat fresh garlic just about never get bit by mosquitos, your body becomes a natural repellant.
Dab a small amount of plain ammonia on bite with a cotton ball. Iching stops immediately.

plasticapple in plastic apple land -If you put white vinegar on a mozzie bite it really helps to cure it, I use it frequently and it always works! Just put some vinegar on a tissue or cotton bud and apply it to the bite, try it!

Tiger balm cure for mosquito bites
