Garlic remedy for cold sores

Cold sores are typically a manifestation of the non-curable herpes simplex virus. But you can easily get rid or them forever through natural remedies. Garlic has great antiviral properties which people can use to get relief from a cold sore.

Cut up the garlic into smaller cloves, place one of the cold sore, this should make the cold sore recede then completely destroy it. The great thing about using garlic for this is that it doesn’t sting the person or make them want to scratch it, this will provide a source of relief when it comes to getting rid of the cold sore. Ice cube

Wrap a small hand towel in a couple of ice cubes, but do not wrap the towel over the ice. (The towel will serve as a holder for the ice) Then hold the actual ice cube on the cold sore as often as you can. I got a cold sore a day ago and it has been 24 hrs and it is pretty much gone. Trust me, I have tried over the counter creams and everything, but this worked really well for me.

No grains-no cold sores !!!

I started getting cold sores, AT LEAST once a month, about 3 years ago with no explanation. Doctors prescribed me Valtrex almost every time. I usually don't like being on any type of medication so I was on a quest to find a more natural solution. Certain things (ex: vinegar, lemon, baking soda, peroxide, etc.) helped but never well enough to give me complete satisfaction.

It wasn't until last year when I changed my diet completely that I stopped getting cold sores, among other unexplainable ailments, altogether and I was amazed with the results. I cut out all breads and grains almost 100 percent, which was very difficult at first but well worth it for me. And as time went on I stopped craving these foods and it became easier for me. The hardest to avoid was any kind of bread, potatoes, rice and pastas but once I stopped eating all of the above I have seen amazing results and have never looked back.

The perks of a grain free diet are endless. Not only did I stop getting cold sores but UTI's as well, my energy levels were increased, I began sleeping better and waking up easier, my skin improved, and the list goes on and on. Turns out that the sugars you are getting from grains can feed certain parasites in your body that cause these ailments. It is definitely a lifestyle change but for the better. If you are serious about getting rid of your cold sores give a new diet a trial run for a few months. It will be worth it in the end if you get as good of results as I did.

La reine

I steep a double strong black tea and pour it over cotton rounds. These I store in a closed jar in the refrigerator. When I had sores in my mouth I could just leave a pad against the sore in my mouth, but now I get them in my nose instead. I cut the pads in half and press the pad into my nostril but I cannot find a way to suspend the tea so that I can use it away from home. I refuse to let people see the tea plug in my nose.

70 percent rubbing alcohol is the best

The following concentration of rubbing alcohol helped me. Put the rubbing alcohol on a q tip and apply generously. It stings like all get out at first but it will dry it up. As soon as you put your lip back to normal you notice that the cancer sore is shriveling.
I know for me I am going to put this on 3 times a day until its gone. The alcohol also numbs the pain so it feels like its not even there (besides the sting of the alcohol)

Lysine is an amino acid (building block of protein). People use it to make medicine. Lysine is used for preventing and treating cold sores (caused by the virus called herpes simplex labialis). It is taken by mouth or applied directly to the skin for this use. Lysine is also taken by mouth to improve athletic performance. How does it work? Lysine seems to prevent the herpes virus from growing.
