Zinc pills for acne

Acne: Zinc pills. Zinc cream put on a squeezed pimple the night before seems to help the skin to heal faster and take away redness. Also good for a sore nose during a cold virus. Acne can be bacterial, hormonal, caused by diet or even fungal.

Cure from the inside out!!!

Your skin is the largest organ ( yes its an organ google it lol) like the rest of your organs your diet can mess them up! Here is why:

SUGAR- Sugar raises insulin levels, which promotes the production of testosterone in women, and inflammation in general, causing acne..
Avoid starchy food your body turns into insulin! MILK-Milk and dairy consumption is closely linked with acne in part because of the hormones and because of the saturated fats.

FATS-Saturated and processed fats increase arachidonic acid levels causing acne. Mild food allergies ppl are unaware of ie: gluten, dairy, yeast, and eggs can be problems.

Last but not least VITAMIN D its a must for all skin problems! There is a ton of info on vit D for acne it has helped so many ppl ( really google that one!)

Get rid of any oil

I have suffered from acne since I was 13 and my mother and I tried from normal hand soap to buying a $150.00 'acne cream set' that just made it worse. It takes a while for you to find the right face wash for you, but I recommend washing your face twice a day to fight all of the oil and dirt that can build up in your skin.

However, whenever I have a huge zit that is really embarrassing, I use polysporin! I dab a little bit of it on before I go to bed and when I wake up, it has reduced about half of the size it was the night before. I have used this on myself, my boyfriend and my brother and it all works for them! But wash your face! For men, I know that my brother uses Oxy Pads and they really work to calm an angry spree of zits. Hope this helps!

Vip look!

Any of the following is good to use before bed:

1. calomile/calomine lotion is extremely good for drying out pimples/acne, it also helps scars and if used moderately it can be used as a foundation.

2. applying lemon juice with a piece of cotton wool. (this may sting in the first couple uses).

3. castor oil

4. himalaya herbals almond and cucumber peel off mask is an excellent product which unclogs pores and peels away blemishes.

5. clinique 3step anti-blemish (day + night)

6. a mask made with oats, tomato and egg white should be left on the skin for approximately 20mins or until it becomes tight and then rinsed of.

7. stay away from products with high levels of mercury!!!

8. mayonnaise

I have tried hundreds of things. The only thing that has worked is Witchhazel! You can buy it at your supermarket, and you rub it on your skin and it works like a miracle! I've tried so many things and it is the only thing that has worked. Definitely worth a try!

A solution for everything

Are you ready for it...... WINDEX!!! That's right your everyday cleaning product has now turned into a part of your first aid kit. I have used windex anywhere from scrapes to open wounds. And when I have the smallest bit of acne I just put some windex on a cloth and on my face. I know it's bazzar and weird but it works!!!!! I've been doing it now for 3 years and thousands are satisfied with the results as well. So for home remedies this should be Number 1 that u should try.

Don't pick!

Really, really, try to not pick. It's bad. I had a bad habit of picking until I bled. Not fun. Just don't touch it! Also, DO NOT put tape or other sticky thing on it to irritate it! It's tempting, but don't do it!!!

Acne Sufferer

As weird as it may sound but hand sanitizer has worked wonders for me. I have paid so much money for skin products and creams however nothing has worked as good as this.

I always carry hand sanitizer around with me and one day after jumping out of the gym sauna I had forgotten my face wash so I just used some hand sanitizer and noticed a difference within hours. Less redness in the pimple and it wasn't so sore. Within two days the pimples were disappearing so I decided to use it as a toner replacement and it has finally cured my pimples.

People compliment my skin because I am now able to use a rich moisturiser without the fear of breaking out.

Hand Sanitizer--seriously!

Anyone who is skeptical just needs to try it for a day or two. Even the first time I put it on my face it made a difference. I have suffered with horrible acne my whole life and it has cleared it up unlike anything else!! It is amazing!!

Wash Face

I wash my face morning and evening. I use a soap called Spring Dew(Conklin Product). It gets all the greasy oils, cleans the pores and leaves my face fell clean and dry, but it keeps the dots off. Sometimes after I wash in the morning, if my face is REALLY dry then I put lotion on and I still don't have problems with acne.

It might be Rosacea, not Acne

Some people approx. 30yrs and older are not getting acne, it's Rosacea. I thought a had acne not ever really having an acne problem. Talk to your DR. If you have rosacea your making it worse by treating it as acne. If it's rosacea use cold compress, never use acne meds. Wash face with a mild soap(DOVE unscented) and take vitamin B complex. Most important aviod the sun or wear sunscreen. And don't drink alcoholic beverages if possible. And remember Rosacea IS NOT ACNE. It just looks like it.
